  1. I can’t imagine.
In 2021, we have teens and twentysomethings who are afraid to go anywhere without a piece of cloth over their mouth and nose. Even after a full year they give it no thought at all.
    Humongous difference, eh?

  2. THE CLOCK IS TICKING
The clock is ticking! Don’t you hear the ticking of the clock!
wre’re on the clock! The signs of the times! We’re at the end of time!
The Lord Jesus Christ is returning! The return of the Lord is upon us!
    Are you ready?
    1 Peter 4
7But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
    2 Peter 3
9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
    John 3
14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
    Revelation 3
18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
    John 7
37In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
    Revelation 22
17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
    John 14
6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS RETURNING!
    Mark 13
33Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
    Luke 21
34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
    1 Thessalonians 5
6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
    Revelation 16
15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
    Matthew 25
13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
    Romans 13
11And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
ARE YOU AWAKE? ARE YOU WATCHING? YOU CAN BE!
    John 10
9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
HERE IS HOW TO GET SAVED AND BE READY FOR THE LORD JESUS CHRIST’S RETURN
    Romans 10
    8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST THEN YOU WILL BE SAVED. NOW YOU ARE READY FOR THE RETURN OF THE LORD!

  3. I guess in World War ll and the previous Wars..Rank was an ” Ego ” thing..During the Vietnam Conflict Officers never worn their ” Rank ” in Combat…You would be a ” Prize Target “..Can you imagine a Star/Eagle or even Bars on your helmet..you would be a sitting Duck…

  4. My wife’s uncle served in the 29th Infantry Division, 115th Regiment. He survived D-Day (Omaha Beach), and was killed at St. Lo. He was 20 years old and is buried at American Military Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France. We visited his grave in 2019.. heartbreaking but a beautiful place to be.
